Our group of around 20, mostly ex-service men and women, received a fascinating lecture and explored the site. The staff, both at the museum and cafe, were friendly and provided excellent service.

The exhibition was fascinating, although it would have been nice to have an outdoor village to explore and experience the historical setting.

The museum was interesting, although there were gaps in information about the production of cordite. It catered well to children's interests but lacked in-depth details for adults. The train crash exhibit was a highlight.

The museum was dull, overpriced, and lacking in substance. Charging £9 per person felt like a rip-off. It's best to avoid spending money on this experience.

I brought my parents to this place, and we found it really interesting. There is a small coffee shop at the end, and the young man at the admission desk was friendly and courteous.

Although small, the museum is intense and thought-provoking. Take your time to absorb the exhibits, which may evoke shock and despair, but overall leave a lasting impression.

This museum is excellent, offering plenty to see and do. The staff are friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The museum is well-organized, with amenities like toilets, picnic tables, and parking available. Even without booking ahead, our Friday visit was enjoyable, but it may be wise to book in advance during busier times.

This museum is absolutely superb, providing a detailed explanation of the munitions factory's development during World War 1 near Gretna, its operations, and the area's experiences before, during, and after the wars. While there is some repetition, the museum offers fascinating detail about the monumental undertaking and the individuals involved. The volunteers are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making it a must-visit.

Despite being very small, this museum is highly interesting. It may take some time to get in due to the ticket booth staff answering questions from other families, but once inside, it is well-organized, informative, and engaging. The cafe offerings were not impressive, leading to a 3-star rating.
